Hi member,
We all know our galexy devices doesn't seem to be have inbuilt app lock so samsung suggest to download S Secure app from galexy store
But our device has the inbuilt applock with is not accessible unless we have s secure app installed
(S Secure is just a launcher for inbuilt applock )
As app lock is system app (as you can see in screenshot)
But you can access applock without s secure app through Activity Launcher
Follow the steps below :
Step 1 :
Download Activity Launcher from play store
(App size is just 205 kb)
Step 2 :
Open Activity Launcher ( wait until it loads up)
You can such interface
In app list you can see applock
Step 3 :
Tap on app lock
Then tap on 1st applock logo
Step 4 :
After that a new window will open which will have same interface as s secure app
Here you can lock or mask app as you want
You can also create shortcut for applock
Tap and hold on 1st applock icon and select edit shortcut and give it name applock then tap create
After that it will appear on you home screen
If you delete Activity Launcher the locked apps will not unlock but the shortcut will be deleted
If you don't create shortcut for app lock you can access it through Activity Launcher
If you download S Secure app from galexy store the settings will not change the locked app can't be unlocked if you uninstall S Secure app
