Samsung account help

Good morning 

Can someone please assist me I have phoned samsung a few times now ... my samsung account is linked to my old cellphone number which has been trashed after my father passed away due to canceling the contracts my samsung account is only linked to that old number so I keep getting verification codes to that number as for samsung said they can't assist in changing my number or giving me the back up codes I've had that account since 2019 and they just keep telling me create a new account but that is my account created with my email as for they also said they can't help me due to privacy policy but when I've read the privacy policy regarding that it states that when a person create a samsung account they do gather the information and should I ask to change something or ask for the backup codes they are suppose to help me and either change my number or give me a backup code but they keep refusing me each time any help with this what can I do regarding this ? How do I approach them any further?

You can change profile info by doing the following; open settings on a device that is signed into the account.

Settings> Click the name at the top of the settings bar> Profile info> then select the info you wish to change (email or phone number), you will need to input the password and then you are good.

Problem is as follow there is no device that is signed In to that account that is why I've tried so many times asking samsung for help regarding this cause I can't access my account at all

Create a new samsung account with a new email address and move on unless there are contacts you want to retrieve. There's nothing really attached to it.

I only have 1 email address since 2019 most of my private stuff was saved on my samsung account including the contacts but it's really a struggle to get any help from them

Well on the Samsung account you would only have your samsung notes, contacts, gallery is linked to Microsoft One Drive, if you had other stuff like music, the Samsung Cloud would have deleted it. So I think you would have to make peace with it but it's also better to use Google to store your contacts and other personal stuff since its easier to retrieve. You just have to start afresh, I am so sorry.

You must go to your network provider and do a sim swap to get your old cellphone number back that you want use
