Samsung is horrible.  I have a 3-year-old fridge--the freezer stopped working and a tech diagnosed it as a freon leak.  He was scheduled to repair it today and never showed up.  I called to ask why and Samsung decided that even though it's a closed-system issue covered by a 5-year warranty, they are not fixing the problem.  They offered me less than was paid for the fridge, told me to dispose of the old one (which is leaking freon and making me and my pets sick), and to buy a new fridge.  This is despicable.  I have reported Samsung to the EPA and every other government and consumer agency I can.  This product is making us sick in our home--we have been without a freezer for over two weeks, freon is leaking and making us sick and we aren't even getting the promised refund (they say they will send it but they've said a lot of untrue things).  So I have to call an attorney.  I hate Samsung for doing this and treating consumers so poorly.  Their customer service is appalling.  They need to come and get this toxic mess of a fridge out of our home and they should have repaired it or replaced it ASAP--instead they are happy that we are getting sick and have to buy a new appliance after 3 years!!!!  This is corporate criminal negligence and we will take legal action.

You should take legal action. Samsung has been taking Indian consumers for granted since a long time. They should get a reality check from someone.

You better proceed with legal action as well as you can file a police complaint because the refrigerator is a health and safety risk too which is criminal act.
