OthersI bought Samsung Galaxy S7 edge phone in March 2017 with following details:
During last two year, it asked for several system updates which were updated by me from time to time.
On Sunday, 7th July 2019, mobile popped up with some system update which I executed as did before.
That updated completed successfully and mobile started normally after that.
Few minutes thereafter, it became dead completely. I was not able to boot it.
I visited the Samsung Authorised Service centre in my area.
After inspection , they mentioned the only solution to change its motherboard which will cost around INR 15,000.
Even thereafter they were not sure that it will work properly or not.
it’s a very costly phone and it's very disappointing to see that just a recommended software update made it dead .
I feel there was a bug in that update which somehow corrupted it.
Could anyone suggest how to get it rectified so that it will switch On and booth normally.
Thanks & regards
