Samsung Finder - The best part about rocking a Samsung phone!
To be honest, TouchWiz, in all its iterations and the dreaded S-xxxx (S Secure, S Finder, S Note etc) were just horrible, and the first thing I would do in those times was try and get rid of every single trace of all that rubbish by disabling all the S apps and replacing the ugly and unweildy TouchWiz launcher. This goes true for all versions of TouchWiz, and I was glad to see the last of it.
OneUI, however, is a totally different story. It's fluid, smart, fast, attractive and extremely capable for all levels of users. And it gets better with every version. Everything is really well thought out, beautifully executed and very customisable. I now have no need for custom ROMs or even custom launchers, something i heavily dependent on until the 2017-18 phones which introduced OneUI. It keeps getting better and better! And the best part of OneUI is the deep integration of Samsung Finder.
If you haven't been using the Samsung Finder box, you're really missing something. I usually have several hundred apps installed, and Finder is the most used feature when I'm trying to find a particular app, setting, calender entry, file or pretty much anything!
That text box on top of the task manager and the apps list is just brilliant! It usually knows what I want even without typing anything! And if it doesn't, i just type the first couple of letters and I instantly have the app, setting, data,
or file in less than half a second!
I would like to take a moment to thank Samsung for this absolutely brilliant feature. And it keeps getting faster and better with every iteration and update! It's lightning fast and generally knows what to show me at particular times of the day or when I'm doing a particular thing, or in a particular location.
Absolutely brilliant stuff! I only wish there was a home screen widget, akin to the Google widget to make things even faster. Would love to see this in a future update!
Before I go, a top tip ℹ️💡! You probably know about hashtags when trying to find something in the settings screen. For seeing all battery related options, you can open search in settings and type in #battery, and it'll show you all battery related settings. After an update, click the find button in settings and put in #whatsnew to see all the new settings that have been added or updated by the update, all in a single screen! Do give it a try in case you didn't know this!

PS: if anyone from Samsung is reading this, I would absolutely love to have a Finder widget implemented. Or even a dedicated box on the home screen that shows on all pages the way Google toolbars do on Pixel phones. Do look into if it is feasible.
