Rearranging Apps on Home Screen

Hi

I wanted to suggest that while rearranging items on home screen, moving an item from one screen to other takes a long time if done by dragging to edge. Could there be an update so that we could pick an app with one finger and scroll screens with other??

It really would make that easy and smooth.
