Problem with play store

Anyone having problem with play store.

It's been a while play store is lagging while checking for updates and also kind of stopping while downloading updates.

download work only when play store opened.not when screen off or use other app

after upgrading to android 10 I am facing this issue, not regularly but yes sometimes. This happens only opening not in downloading updates...
have you tried to clear cache...?
