One UI 5.1 ~ Emojis ~ Whatsapp

Is there a reason why whatsapp cannot display the samsung emojis within its chat window? 

If you try to read the messages from the quick menu it shows samsung emojis but when you go inside the application it display default android emojis. Instagram however, supports the samsung emojis. 

Was wondering if there is a way to make it all samsung ones?

Whatsapp has its own emoji style. This also ensures that older android versions which don't support newer emojis natively can still render them

Thank you for the responses. I have read the same somewhere else but needed an official confirmation.

TBH, the experience would have been much much better with the oneUI emojis.
