Disable HW overlays

(Settings>> developer options >> hardware accelerated rendering >> Disable HW overlays)

HW in this case means hardware acceleration, and stacking layer means using CPU for auxiliary computation, rather than GPU for full rendering. Because GPU rendering is relatively more power-intensive, HW overlay layer is generally turned on by default. 

In this way, high power consumption caused by hardware acceleration can be effectively avoided and mobile phone fluidity can be effectively improved to achieve a dual balance between performance and power consumption.

Note: 

1 Netflix might not work properly.

2 only remedies the situation , does not          cure any  OS problems

3 every time you restart , setting is reset to    default

4 Animation scale reduction to .5x Also resets after restart. (Different topic)

Do you really suggest enabling developer options?

Samsung HATES people tinkering with their phones. The main reason why the highest chances of bricking your phone while unlocking bootloader is with Samsung phones.

but
bricking phone doesn't have anything with enabling developer options and using them ..

it only happens when you try to unlock bootloader and install a new custom Rom ....

Samsung is against since it tries to care about security of the phone

**bleep**. They only provide minimal software support. So, rooting and updating phones indicate that Samsung failed to support more than capable hardware long enough.

but
Samsung tries too hard for security because it will make it useful for business users ...

I enabled developer options.

The "Disable HW Overlays" is off by default.

Should I turn it on or is it supposed to be off?

yes.... but enable it only of your facing any lag or stutter on your phone.

without any lag it might seem nothing much have improved..
