OthersI have purchased a samsung galaxy book 4 laptop and the same was delivered on 25.10.2024 now i have noticed that when the laptop was charging, i am getting a minor vibration like feel more like tingling effect when i rub the body of laptop. The charger i have been using the original charger provided by the brand which is actually 2pin charger like a mobile charger.. does it has anything to do with the issue since there is no third pin which lead to leakage

I have Infinix metal body laptop. same thing happening with mine laptop too. When ever i put it on charging feeling same like you. I think it's normal with Metal body laptops.
Let me explain it:-
Feeling a slight electric sensation on a metal-bodied laptop during charging is often due to a phenomenon called capacitive coupling. Here’s a simple explanation:
Capacitive Coupling: When your laptop is plugged in, the power adapter creates a small electric field. This field can induce a tiny current on the metal surface of the laptop. Normally, this current is very low and harmless, but it can be felt as a slight tingling sensation.
Grounding Issues: If the power outlet or the adapter isn’t properly grounded, it can increase the likelihood of feeling this sensation. Proper grounding helps to safely dissipate any stray currents.
Insulation: Laptops with metal bodies have less insulation compared to plastic ones, making it easier to feel these tiny currents.
To minimize this sensation, you can try using a properly grounded outlet or an adapter with better insulation. If the sensation is strong or uncomfortable, it might be worth checking the power adapter and outlet for any issues.
However, please note. Its comman with all metal body laptop.
If my comment helps you, kindly accept it as solution 😊
