After l installed the latest update for Abdroid 11 on my Samsung A12, l found that l lost contacts who have recently been in touch. Contacts in my recent folder, those l have exchanged WhatsApp messages either tor me personally or through groups, disappeared from my contacts folder. I have to restore them one by one.
Good people, l have noticed that whatever bug caused loss of the contacts described above is still active even after the update. I have found out that some contacts are lost again after being added as soon as they are used again either for making or receiving calls or sending or receiving messages . However most of the contacts remain. I cannot figure out the criteria to decide which contacts remain and which disappear again
Try this solution. 1. Open the contacts application 2. Press the three dots at the top right corner 3. Press the trash option, you will see contacts that were recently deleted Or You can restore your contacts from the cloud backup
