How do switch to a new Google account on my phone?

I switched to a different Google acc on my phone but I am unable to sync the device data with the switched account. I need to sync the contact information stored in the Google account on my device.

Delete your previous account and then try to sync from settings.

We would like to inform you that Firstly you need to remove the current account from the device by navigating into Settings >> Clouds & Accounts >> Accounts and then you can register your new account there and sync the data as well.
