Is there any way to stop notification vibration when the device is in normal ring mode? There is an option on Sound & Vibrations called "Notification Vibration" but if I change it as "Silent", notification doesn't vibrate even on vibration mode. This is really messed up. I don't know why someone would want call/notification vibration on normal ring mode. There's a vibration mode for that.

Why would someone use the ringer mode instead of the vibration mode in that case? It doesn't make any sense at all. Ringer mode and vibration mode have completely different use case. People use ringer mode in a quiet place such as home and vibration mode in noisy areas such as roads where you can't hear the ringtone but can feel the vibration. Why would someone need the device to vibrate while the phone is in ringer mode and makes sound every time a notification or call comes in. Atleast give us an option to choose. Samsung does so many things wrong. Their DND mode is also half baked compared to stock AOSP. I'm really regretting for switching from Pixel 4A to Galaxy A52s. I simply can't get used to One UI after using the stock AOSP rom for years.

Hmm, there should be an option.
It's just that i never felt the need to specifically select the vibration only for vibration mode.
If i need some notification than I'll select it at Both vibration and a small tone, if i don't need any notification i simply mute all notification, or stop vibration for that app only.
Till now, i never felt to use this as, what you said.
But it's a Wishlist worthy feature :)

Vibration consumes unnecessary battery. It's not worth the extra battery drain on ringer mode (atleast for me) as I do not need my device to vibrate when I can clearly hear the ringtone/notification tone.

I broke the display and Google does not have a service centre in Kolkata. I didn't wanna go through all the hassle. So, I changed the display on a local shop and sold the device on OLX. I would have bought a Pixel device only but as you know Pixel 6A was way too overpriced when it was released and I wanted to try out One UI along with 120 hz refresh rate. I still miss Pixel 4A. It was a compact phone with an amazing camera. And many reputed custom ROM developers use this device so you get a lot of quality custom ROMs.

Dont turn off the notification vibration, instead set the vibration intensity to zero.

See that's the problem. If I do this, my notification will not vibrate even on vibration mode. I don't know why Samsung didn't give an option to enable/disable vibration on ringer mode.

Bro there are 4 different methods.

1. Turn off vibrate while ringing.
2. Turn off call vibration.
3. Turn off notification vibration.
4. Set intensity to zero.Screenshot_20230123_100834_Settings.jpg
