Google widget problem

This thing only happens while using dark mode. 

Why is this ugly thing happening and how do I get rid of it ??

if you want to remove google search bar just long press and remove from home

no i just want to change the grey to black like it was before

yeah this when you open dark mode onlyy coz and there are some update in dark mode
may be its because black over dark mode might create some problem in visiblity

mine is also same .. i choose more transparent but it doesnt look that bad in normal also
may be your background has bright colours thats why grey is looking very different you can try diff Wallpapers

You can customize it with different colours(from Google) or long press and remove it

nahi ye koi glitch hai shayad, colour change karne se google logo black and white ho jata hai. mujhe 👇🏻 chahiye par nahi ho rha kal se

bro, how do u apply font? I am also using zfont but I am not able to install any custom fonts as it s not supported in Android 10
