Gear Fit2 Pro Floor Counter Problem

The floor counter of my newly purchased gear fit2 pro is not working properly. When i climb a floor, it mostly does not counts that i climbed a floor. It is very rare that it counts the floor that i climbed. Please help me for this as i was expecting a good performance from this watch But it is not up to the mark.

1) Disconnect the Gear from the device and connect again to check the issue.
2) Navigate to Settings >> Apps >> Gear Manager >> Clear Cache.
3) Reset the device settings by navigating to Settings >> General Management >> Reset >> Reset Settings.

I climbed 18 floors and it recorded just 10 ... took a break on floor 9 and 15 .... the counter does not work properly. the procedure above has no effect ....
