it is not misconception using black mode on amoled display saves battery because in amoled dispaly every pixel emit light individually and black on amoled means pixel in off mode which in turn save battery

I have galaxy note 9 and dark mode is not beneficial at all,rather it consumes more battery

right...using black theme or dark mode ( in pie) is a good idea for Amoled display.

Bro u can search on google. if black mode dosent save battery at leat it will help in preventing pixel burn.
