I purchased a new Samsung QN85C 55-inch TV on 3rd March and had it installed on 9th March. I observed a grid pattern on the display's left side on the first login day. I was standing close to the TV, so I ignored it. After a couple of days, I noticed it more on white and blue backgrounds. It annoys me while watching content on the set-top box. How do I deal with this? It looks like a defect that somehow came through quality checks or happened during the TV transit to my house. Should I accept it or return it for a new one?

It's been a few weeks since I have dealt with this TV and become more familiar. I played around with the settings to get the best picture. I saw what this TV is capable of. It provides excellent picture clarity overall.
But all of that is ruined when the grid is visible. It is visible in scenes that hold a blue sky. I can see more grid lines in a solid blue colour. But most of them cannot be seen in regular content.
There is a grid made of 16x9 small squares. It is visible on the left side of the screen. It is close to the middle on the left side. This grid is visible in a few scenes. It is visible even from a distance of 12 feet.
I like the TV overall, and I purchased it for a good price. But I never expected to receive a defective product from Samsung. The technician came and told me not to stare at that grid.
Even though there is technically no problem with the TV I wish to receive a new one that doesn't show the grid in any of the regular content.
