Hello Experts,

Recently I have came across an issue with my Galaxy S9 plus and SD CARD. I got the message and I'm not being able to resolve the issue, I tried all possible ways available on internet to make it writable.

The error: " Your SD card isn't working correctly and has been set to read-only to prevent data loss. Backing up the data on your SD card is recommended."

Kindly, do let me know if anyone has any possible ways to make it writable SD card.

Regards,

dead card, had similar issue on my s8 replaced 2 times with new sd card and after few months i couldn't copy or delete anything from the card, even if i format all the files reappear..probably you can try this on your pc if you have card reader ,in cmd type chkdsk F: /f /r /x

(F: is the drive letter so see what drive letter is your sd card)

Looks like they are doing it intentionally so that people switch to higher-end mobile 📱 and thats could earn them... cheap business!!

Well, in my case they stopped pushing any sort of updates for the device. My last update was on March 2022. After that no updates. Its just like Apple, the Samsung are doing same stuff. Although device is working well and doesn't require any chance for coming years..

Did not get you, What has Apple to do with this, Apple pushes 5 years of software updates to all iPhones and Samsung does it with some phones
