BA Selection - Non Transparent, Favouritism and vague criteria?

So, we all know that the BA selection just got completed and some 11 people were selected. Congrats to all. But, as active members of this platform some of us have some genuine concerns and objections.

1. The Criteria for selection is UNKNOWN and VAGUE : Nobody made this clear and active members of this community are not selected. People who have made less than 10 posts and have ZERO solutions are selected. Now, you may say that the activity on this platform is not considered. But, then this is the PRIMARY community and platform for Samsung India users, not Instagram or Twitter or Youtube. People come HERE for solutions and to share experiences. So, no value for this platform?
2. Who selects BAs?: Are the current BAs part of this process? If yes, it's unfair as many of these are people who have had debates with members and has personal grudges, which knowingly or unknowingly will affect the selection process. So, involving them is not a fair thing.
3. What exactly do you expect from the candidates?: Blind promotion and appreciation of the brand? Or people with social media following who can help in advertising the products? Or genuine people who does criticism and appreciation respectively when warranted? Or people who are Doctors, engineers or Group A govt.  employees who can help improving the brand value??

I am someone who incidentally decided to quit this platform yesterday, hence the name change. However, I thought I should make this post before doing so. If all you required was people with high profile jobs like Doctors and/or people with social media following, you should have made this clear without making  others like us wasting our time. Otherwise, you should show the integrity to publicise the selection procedure, criteria and the selection panel.

I hereby register my strong disappointment, dissatisfaction and objection to the BA selection gimmick. I am not the only one with objection. And I am not surprised that I am not selected as I was sure about it because I reacted strongly for the people who were facing S20plus display issues and mass exynos 9611 motherboard failure. Nevertheless, I am surprised about the non selection some of my friends.

oh wow!!! So, this platform is beyond redemption and we cannot expect equality and fairness. Good that I came to know this at least now.

Just to answer a few questions which I am sure about, 1. The selection process is totally upto Samsung and what are actually points to evaluate someone as a BA are kind of unknown.
2. Nope BAs can't directly affect selection process, yes they can suggest names but at last selection decision is totally depends on Samsung officials. And for your information, Personal grudges doesn't really matter in BAs group. Cus all 5 fingers aren't same anywhere. If you know what I mean.
3. There are different roles BAs play. Some are helping the community, Moderation and remaining are content creators. Admins decide what they wanna do with BAs.

Now at the end, before someone start hate comments, go through my profile to see if I am blindly Promotions type guy or something else.

And I know that feeling behind your msg but we can't really change anything. Some of us are trying but at the end it's Samsung who will decide what to do and how to do things on community.
And at last, Being vocal about actual issues, Speaking against non Customer Friendly habits isn't something that can reject your BA application. If that was totally true, I wouldn't have Star on my profile. Neither do GST bhai would have got invitation to join BA program. (I can assure you that).

2. Good to know that.
3. I asked about the candidates for BA, not about what selected BAs are "supposed" to do. What selected BAs, well majority of them, are actually doing(basically inactive) in this community is well known to all.

Since you also don't know what actually is the qualification for that star, let's not go to the other areas of your reply.

As I said Sid. Its not random selection, Its Samsung who actually know the evaluation process. And at the end they will decide what kind of person they need.

When I read your reply first, the word random was there, or at least that' what I think. Let it be. Unknown means it's not transparent and we can't trust it. A person with 3 posts can become a BA and someone like Ashu who has 30k likes cannot? You can't justify it, unless you are able to define unknown.

Some of those few people are still on Neutral side and still fighting for the cause. Just saying.
