App not running in secured folder

Post updationof Andorid 14 in samsung s23 ultra, Payment app like Gpay, phone pay, cred, Mobikwik are not running in secured folder.

Yes, I also have similar problem. Basically now secure folder does allow SMS access. Hence these apps can not be installed in secure folder. Beside I also found problem with Gmail and Outlook mail apps in secure folder. Different issue here: Android web view latest app is not compatible with mail apps.

Then what the benefit of secured folder. If we can't secured banking and payment app in secured folder.
Need work on this issue by samsung.

Banking and Payment apps already has fingerprint/lock code before opening it. So we can use it in our normal space as well (not secure folder I mean)

If we give phone to someone temporarily, he has access to app. In case of secure folder, there is additional security.

Are you giving you phone to someone after opening any banking and payment apps? Only then someone can check it. Otherwise nobody can access it without your password.

I agree. But I still feel secure folder give additional security.
The data in secure folder can not be accessed by computer with USB wire connection.

That's true. Hopefully Samsung will fix it in their future updates.
