After the OneUi 6.1 update, some of the always on display features were removed.
For example, on my S23 ultra, after the 6.1 update, the add images to AOD feature which was available before, was removed. And today I just found a fix for it randomly.
So, just open the gallery and choose the image that you wanna put up on the AOD and press the three dot button and select set as wallpaper, it would give certain options like home screen, lockscreen and AOD!
There you go! Just click on the AOD option and place your image just like the way before the update.

Yeah, but it's not really comfortable with good lock - LockStar. You won't be able to add images as easily as it was earlier.
LockStar doesn't actually provide an option to add images to AOD.
You have to make an custom image clock using ClockFace and then select it as the AOD using LockStar. It's an huge process. I just want an easy way

Yes, extra steps and easy way is removed now. Don't know what was the reason to remove already working features 😕
