Hi Friends,

I have S24 Ultra, i have Elgato HD60s+ and I want to stream my mobile games to Youtube using capture card.

However, when I connect the phone to the capture card my phone caps FPS to 30fps.

Without a capture card, it has 120fps but the moment I connect the fps drops to 30fps on the phone.

I searched on the internet but nothing was found.

please if any one can help me, I want to stream the mobile games using capture card on youtube.

The issue you're facing with your Samsung S24 Ultra, Elgato HD60 S+, and YouTube streaming likely stems from a combination of factors:
* Phone's Power Management:
* Thermal Throttling: When your phone's processor gets too hot, it automatically reduces performance (including frame rate) to prevent overheating. This is a common occurrence when demanding tasks like gaming and capturing are happening simultaneously.
* Power Saving Modes: Ensure that any power-saving modes or battery optimization features on your phone aren't aggressively limiting performance when connected to the capture card.
* Capture Card Limitations:
* Processing Power: While the Elgato HD60 S+ is a capable card, it may have limitations in processing high frame rates, especially when dealing with the demanding graphics of modern mobile games.
* Software Compatibility: The software you're using to capture and stream (likely OBS or a similar program) might not be perfectly optimized for your phone's specific hardware and software combination.
* Game Optimization:
* Game Settings: Some games might have built-in settings that prioritize power efficiency over performance, which could be affecting your frame rate. Try adjusting in-game graphics settings to favor performance.
Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try:
* Optimize Phone Settings:
* Disable Power Saving Modes: Temporarily disable any power-saving modes or battery optimization features that might be affecting performance.
* Cool Down Your Phone: If your phone is overheating, let it cool down before continuing. Consider using a cooling fan or playing in a cooler environment.
* Close Background Apps: Close any unnecessary apps running in the background to free up resources.
* Adjust Capture Card Settings:
* Resolution and Framerate: Experiment with lower resolutions (e.g., 720p instead of 1080p) and framerates (e.g., 60fps instead of 120fps) in your capture software.
* Hardware Encoding: If your capture card and software support it, try using hardware encoding for better performance.
* Optimize Game Settings:
* Lower Graphics Settings: Reduce in-game graphics settings such as resolution, texture quality, shadows, and anti-aliasing.
* Prioritize Performance: If the game has a performance mode or setting, enable it.
* Update Software:
* Phone Software: Make sure your phone's operating system is updated to the latest version.
* Capture Card Drivers: Update your capture card's drivers to the latest version.
* Capture Software: Update your capture and streaming software to the latest version.
* Consider Alternatives:
* Phone-Based Streaming: Explore phone-based streaming apps like YouTube Gaming or Facebook Gaming, which might offer more optimized performance for mobile devices.
* Cloud Gaming Services: Services like Google Stadia or NVIDIA GeForce NOW allow you to stream games from powerful servers, potentially bypassing the limitations of your phone's hardware.
If you've tried these steps and are still experiencing issues, it might be helpful to reach out to Elgato support or the developers of your capture and streaming software for more specific assistance.

Try understanding my concern here..
Whenever any external display is connected to phone my phone looses the current 120fps frames to directly 30fps which results unable to play the games as expected and stream using capture card.

I tried using the capture card with other phones and it's working fine but with S24 ultra the phone drops fps from 120 to 30 constant fps.

There is no configuration on phone to control the fps.. post connected to capture card.
