The weather app shows rain during sunshine and changes during actual rainfall; even after the rain stops, it continues to show rain for hours. It has been reporting this way consistently for the past 10 days—anyone can verify this.
Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concern.
TO add the Weather widget to the Home screen
Most Galaxy devices have a Weather widget that you can use on your Home screen. However, if this widget is not on your home screen or you accidentally removed it, you can add it by following the steps below.
● Touch and hold an empty spot on the home screen. ● Tap Widgets. ● Search and select the weather widget ● Choose the widget style, and then tap Add, and then choose the location ● You can see the weather widget on ● You can see the weather widget on the home screen with the selected location
- TO Change the Weather widget location The Weather widget provides weather information for your current location by default. If the location is not the one you want, or if you want to check the weather information for another location, you are able to adjust the location that is shown on the Weather widget. Follow the steps below to adjust the location of your weather service.
● Launch the weather widget ● Tap the plus icon in the top right. ● Find the location you want to add. You may need to accept the terms by tapping OK first. ● You can see the weather information of the selected location. ●To see the list of the selected location, tap on the more options icon (the three vertical lines)
Note: To always display your current location, the GPS location service must be activated on your phone.
- TO Change the displayed location
You can change the location displayed on the Weather widget. Follow the steps below to set one of the locations you added on the Home screen.
● Touch an hold the weather widget, and then select settings. ● Tap change next to the currently selected location. ● Select a new location to display, and then tap Save. ● Once you have applied the changes, you will be able to view the weather for the new location you have selected.
