Initially it will ask for u to use Google message app kindly switch to that which is better and samsung is not providing any own featured now a days and giving downgrades only. Even a separate app lock is not there.

I have been facing this problem on my fold 5 nd same on 21 ultra it's only show me message app stop working

Please clear catche of this app also reset all settings of your's device in general management settings then try to it's again. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to others users also, click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

As per your query, we have identified that the Samsung Messages app suddenly stops or shuts down after updating to the latest Google Meet app version(v246.xxx). We apologize for any inconvenience that may have caused to users. Currently, we are investigating the issue to find further information.

In the meantime, please hold on updating to the latest Google Meet app version.

Path for a workaround: ① Settings > Apps > search ‘Meet’ > tap ‘Force stop’.
② Settings > Apps > search ‘Meet’ > More options(⁝) > tap ‘Uninstall updates’.

If the issue persists, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).
