Feature Request: Add Cartoon Video/Animation Effects to Camera – Galaxy Z Fold8
Dear Samsung Development Team,
I would like to request a fun and useful camera feature for the Galaxy Z Fold8, inspired by the experience available on the Galaxy Z Flip series.
When taking photos or videos of children, it would be great if the Camera app could display cute cartoon characters or short animated videos on the screen while the camera is being used. The animation could appear on the display facing the child, helping to capture their attention and naturally make them look at the camera and smile.
I would especially like this feature to work when the Z Fold8 is unfolded, making use of its large inner display.
For example:
Open the Camera in unfolded mode.
Select a "Kids / Cartoon" mode.
A selected cartoon character or short animation plays on the screen.
The animation attracts the child's attention toward the camera.
The user can then capture a natural photo or video.
It would be even better if Samsung provided several built-in animations/characters and allowed users to download additional animation packs through Galaxy Store.
I believe this would make the Z Fold8's large display much more useful for parents, families, photographers, and anyone taking photos of children.
Please consider bringing this feature to the Galaxy Z Fold8 through a future One UI / Camera update.
