Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share some feedback after updating my device to One UI 7. I’ve noticed that the battery icon and percentage in the status bar are significantly smaller than before. While the design looks clean, it’s become quite difficult to quickly check the battery level—especially when I’m outdoors in bright sunlight or when the wallpaper is light colored.

It’s not a huge issue, but it does affect day-to-day usability. I really hope Samsung considers increasing the size again or at least giving us the option to adjust it in future updates.

Is anyone else facing the same issue? Would love to know your thoughts or if there's any workaround I might’ve missed.

Thanks!

Try increasing the screen zoom in display settings or wait for oneui 8 as there are leaks about this.

They only appreciate the suggestion but never do anything. Same issue on my fold 6. The front screen status bar visibility is negligible. Battery icon too small doesn't have a proper pill orientation. Looks more like a nearly round one. Clock text difficult to read. I already provided all these information during beta testing but then also they just appreciated but did nothing. And for one of the comment, there is no option for screen zoom on cover screen. Though inner screen has option and it's already quite big there. Also the lockscreen widget is also negligible to read. Now waiting for their appreciation again.
