Unable to update the phone software via smart switch and getting error

Hello All,

I am trying to update my Z Fold 6 software update for May 2025 patch via Samsung Smart Switch but I am continuing getting this error

I even tried uninstall and installing back th3 smart switch but the error still persist. Anyone having any similar issue?

Try to Clear Smart Switch Cache and Data on Your Phone:

Navigate to Settings > Apps > Smart Switch > Storage.

Tap Clear Cache. If the problem persists, tap Clear Data and confirm.

Restart your phone and attempt the transfer again.

Still the same issue. Cleared cache as well as clear data for smart switch app in the phone. And rebooted the device. Tried to update the software again via smart switch however gave the same error.

Is there a know issue regarding software update in smart switch for One UI 7?

Please perform the below-mentioned troubleshooting steps, these may help in resolving your concern.

● Check app cache: Settings > Device care > Storage > CLEAN NOW.

● Kindly restart your both devices phone and laptop once.

● Reset the device Settings: Settings > General Management > Reset settings>Reset all settings to their default.

● Kindly try to update the softwere after perform the above steps to resolve your issue.

Step 1. Connect your device to your computer using the USB cable provided with your device.

Step 2. Open Smart Switch on your PC.

Step 3. If a software update is available, Smart Switch will automatically prompt you to update the software or display an option to update.

Step 4. Tap Update and follow the on-screen instructions to download the necessary files and complete the update process.
