Hi, my device is been heating up till 42°c and Samsung says it's normal! Has anyone experienced the same? It's ridiculous, how can someone use a device when it's 42°c? How is someone supposed to talk or keep it in their pocket? Samsung says the temperature can go till 48°c and it's totally safe.
When asked the team if they'll be able to talk on calls with device being 42°c they don't have an answer for it!
I'm quite disappointed as I've visited the service center several times and everytime they repair my device it has new issues!
Would recommend using low refresh rate, turn off 5g and disable/remove apps that runs excessively in background and do make sure to clear the background process before you put it in your pocket and restart your phone once in day.
Which practically wouldn't happen! It's crazy how they say it's normal, I would definitely want them to use my device for call for the entire day without Bluetooth, I would want to see if they ears exist or no after that!
I agree, and they probably say that because they live in a different world from a normal consumer. AC rooms, cars and what not, all provided by the company. So for them heat is non existent and they most likely never get to experience a device like we do. They might do some testing but I doubt they test old devices with new upgrade for long enough to experience heat and such issues with regular usage.
True! My device is still under warranty and I've visited the service center more than 10 times in the last 11 months! It's sad to see how flagship device owners are treated after paying a huge amount of our hard earned money on their device.
If heating is unbearable, I would recommend backing up your data once and do a hard reset and disable Google app/bixby etc as they run constantly in background.
