I am writing to seek clarification and assistance regarding an issue I am facing with Samsung Notes.

I have noticed that after approximately one lakh strokes in my notes, the sync feature stops working. This has raised a serious concern for me, as these notes are extremely important and I cannot afford to lose them.

Could you please clarify:

- Whether the notes are still being safely stored on my local device even when syncing stops?
- If there is any risk of data loss under these circumstances?
- Whether there is any way to manually back up or ensure these notes are saved securely to the cloud?

Please I need a quick resolution, at least make it 2 lacks in the next update!!

Also, I have suggestions to make app more efficient as i have been using it more than anyoneelse, just let me know if you need those!!

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

would like to inform you that if your notes are synced, they will not be stored in local storage. Please note that if you do not have a backup, there is a risk of data loss. We recommend increasing your cloud storage or manually backing up your data to another drive.

Kindly follow the below steps for backup:
To back-up/restore your data, follow these steps:

1. Open your device settings and tap on “Samsung account” at the top of the screen.
2. Select the “Samsung Cloud” option and tap “Back up data”, “Restore data” or “Settings”.
3. Find Samsung Cloud in your Samsung Account or access the “Account and backup” menu in device settings to do a backup.
4. On the next screen, you must select “Back up or restore data within Samsung Cloud”.
5. If you want to do the process manually, select the items you want to back up in the Samsung Cloud settings menu and tap “Back up now”.

• If you turn on “Auto Backup”, each item you activate will be automatically backed up every 24 hours according to the auto back-up conditions.

• Please note: For auto backup to work your device must be charging with the screen off and connected to Wi-Fi.

• To set up auto backup, follow these steps:

1 Open your device settings and tap “Samsung account” at the top of the screen.
2 Select the “Samsung Cloud” option and tap “Back up data”. On the next screen, select the item you want to automatically back up.

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
