Hi, I am unable to update the oculus software in my s7.
Whenever I insert my phone in gear VR, it shows error message that oculus software needs to be updated.
I have followed the steps mentioned in oculus support page (enable Facebook App Installer and Facebook App Manager), but still it is unable to update the app. I have tried clearing the data for oculus apps, uninstalling and reinstalling Oculus and Oculus Home apps, but still cannot use. The current oculus app version is 3.0.0.10.5 (53077855)
uncommon issue. you should probably uninstall all oculus and related apps and then put your phone in vr without the apps. and go through the tutorial and all again. that might help
Had already tried that and it was not working. But the issue is resolved now. Got a notification today that oculus system driver has been updated. Tried plugging the phone back in vr and it worked ☺️ Been trying to update it since last 5 days but it was not showing any update, maybe there was some error.
