that not even true I use I use it for daily purposes and I can still unlock my phone when it on flat surfaces what in world are talking . I have been using the iris from one year you cant say that it cannot be unlocked on flat surfaces. it is unjust a myth you are in .

I am using iPhone X when your face is parallel to your phone (phone is facing the roof and you are looking straight) at a distance of a feet how can you unlock it.!! Maybe its the one tou are in a myth.

well i too use daily sometimes. Simply cannot unlock when placed on a flat surface facing the wall. Maybe urs is an exception
