nope no update since last 2 months samsung doesn't even care S8 or S8+ they are now concentrating on Note 8 and Samsung S9 which is an upcoming phone

That is wrong. You can see that Samsung is testing Oreo on S8 and S8+ at the moment. Not Note 8. So wait till the beta tests are over and you shall get the Oreo update!

it should be 6 months from now and we are not asking for oreo update.
Atleast a security patch should be pushed by samsung
