Galaxy SI use secure folder for security and not as a parallel space. All the apps which I want to lock are installed only inside the secure folder. So, it's not a parallel space for me, at least.
The only parallel apps are the system default ones like gallery.
Yes, a more secure version of s secure would've been ideal for many. But, I think Samsung is not going to do that as they have discontinued one ui core and now most devices will have secure folder.
I don't know why they decided to discontinue it instead of improving it. Those who wanted only an app lock with medium security could've used it. Also, it was the only option for budget phones.

Galaxy SEarlier both one ui core and full devices used to get s secure.
Now, they discontinued it for both. When they discontinued s secure, the full one ui users still had secure folder to lock their apps, documents or whatever. On the other hand, one ui core users had NO default options for such a purpose and had to rely entirely on 3rd party apps.(This is where you forget that I am talking about current situation and not about old phones). In this situation, the one ui core users have a genuine and strong reason to demand the bring back of s secure because they don't have any native alternative like secure folder which is available for full ui users. So, there was a chance that Samsung might bring back s secure for such users. However, now that they have decided to discontinue core ui, all users will now have secure folder option. Therefore, there is one more reason to not bring back s secure because now secure folder will be available to all.
Nb: I am assuming that full one ui for all new devices will come with secure folder. Not sure about this. If they don't provide, then the above argument won't hold.
This is the most simple way I have ever had to explain an argument to anyone, ever in my life.
