if you want to hide suggested apps in recents screen then first tap on three dots in upper right corner of screen and open settings, then turn off suggested apps switch and your problem is solved

Use Good Lock's Task Changer Unit. There's an option to keep the currently running app in center. Attaching the screenshots for reference.
