Samsung removed option to disable the icon frames in onenui update. Squarile shape filled icons are ugly.

Use a black theme; it may help.

You can download different themes from Samsung Themes.

okay, but the icon frames will be according to particular themes. i don't like them with those icon frames

Also I don't like icon frames but in pie I found no option to change it.
