charging issue

iam using galaxy j7nxt in it charging time it takes 6hrs before it was 3hrs for full charge is the problem with battery or charger in my opinion the problem is with charger's data cable because when i connect my galaxy j7nxt with laptop using charger's data cable it says (device not recognized) there is a little cut in charger's data cable and battery backup was good only the charging takes 6hrs any solution for this guys.

The problem is with your Data cable. Consider to change your data cable.
