my phone is still version 7 and i try to upgrade it but is showing me that the latest version is already installed pls any body with such issue

No Samsung doesnt give a phone another Major update when it already recieved 2 more major updates. Means it will only get 3 major updates. The s7 is 3 years old now. It recieved 6.0.1/7.0/8.0 So it wont get the 4th major update ( Android 9.0/Pie )
