After updation of android, the battery performance of my phone s10 plus is pathetic. Facing this issue second time since i bought the phone from april 2019. Now i dont have any faith in samsung phones...will switch to apple.

you have to do factory reset after update or recommended way is to flash big firmware from Samsung service center...when big software update comes then it's recommended by Samsung also to flash that software instead of simply downloading it by own network or wifi

What happens to the data on the phone if one performs a factory reset? I guess it also is lost unless backed up! So, isn't it too big a hassle after every update? Can you please share the link where Samsung recommends this approach.. Thanks
