I have upgrade my A8Plus with S10. phone is fantastic but in_display_fingerprint is so annoying. how other users are come out with this issue. kindly help.

not as fast and accurate. most time screen unlock after 2-3 attempts.

have you re-registered your fingerprint after the update (one ui2 official version)? If not then I will suggest to do it?

why software it self says "press harder". this shows it's not quick sensor.

It learns your fingerprint as you use. Try registering the same finger multiple times. It would get better by time. I was facing the same issue for a couple of week.

Hi there,

 

Kindly follow the below mentioned steps to resolve the issue-

> If any screens guard/tampered glass/protection film is available then first disables the fingerprint settings and then removes the screen guard.

> Once screen guard is removed now register the fingerprint again and check the issue

> Make sure to use the central fingerprint parts evenly when you register or scan fingerprint, so that all portions of fingerprint, including the center and corners have been fully scanned.

> If problem does not get resolved, run the device in Safe mode and reconfigure the fingerprint.

> If issue still persists, create data backup and reset the device.

>If you still have similar problems please visit to the authorized Samsung service center with device and have it inspected for further resolution.
