Unfortunately Samsung has ended it's support for the Galaxy S6 series of smartphones. Therefore, the Android 8.0 Oreo will never going to make it's way to both the S6 & S6 Edge.

I'm using both S6 and S7. But to be honest I'm very much disappointed with Samsung as the Oreo update has still not yet arrived for my S7 and also besides the Oreo update the Camera quality has also been degraded on my S7 after it received the Nougat update last year on March.
Whereas on the other hand my Google Pixel is running on Android 8.1 Oreo and is about to get Android P as soon as it's released by Google. And the best part is that the Camera performance has also been improved than that it was before unlike my S7 which has become a piece of trash especially in Camera department.

samsung has officially ended support for s6 and s6 edge,march security patch is the last update,don't expect any updates from now
