Youtube fill in issue possible reason and how to solve it

so recently i noticed alot of people complaining that in youtube the button that was available in s8 and n8 was gone and they no longer could go full screen
i also noticed that when i updated the youtube app yesterday it disappeared too but in my case it prompted me when i opened a vedio that you can now pinch to use the full screen mode
maybe thats why that floating icon is not there anymore as its replaced by this gesture

yeah after the last youtube app update some peoples floating button disappeared
can you check if pinching in and out does the same thing for you ?
