Working With VoLTE SIM

I am using Samsung S8 with two SIMs. Jio (VoLTE) and Airtel (4G). Since Jio doesn't support anything less than VoLTE, how can I switch to Airtel without stopping Jio SIM? Whenever I switch to data of Airtel, Jio stops working.

I know both SIM slots support VoLTE. But, is it a HW limitation that only one VoLTE SIM can be used at a time? If so, in this new generation of VoLTE, isn't it a lie to say these devices are dual standby?

yes it's a hardware limitation

I also tried switching data to Airtel and manually changing the mode to 2G/3G and switching Jio to LTE. Even then, the data is also switched back to Jio.

quit jio it will make your device obselete go with airtel giving good plans

Thanks for being with Samsung and for sharing your concern. We would like to inform you that it is the default feature of the device as only SIM will be connected to 4G/LTE internet at a time.

So to make sure, if I've two VoLTE SIMs; the phone won't work as dual standby? Please give an yes/no answer...
