Galaxy SHere is how you can force the system to lock your SIM 2 settings and stop them from automatically turning off:
🛠️ Step 1: Reset Network Settings (Highly Recommended)
This clears out any corrupt network configurations and resets both SIM slots to factory defaults without deleting your photos or chats.
Go to Settings > General Management.
Tap on Reset > Select Reset Network Settings.
Tap on Reset settings to confirm. (You will need to reconnect to your Wi-Fi after this).
⚙️ Step 2: Clear Cache of "SIM Toolkit" and "Carrier Hub"
Sometimes the background system apps that manage SIM settings get glitched.
Go to Settings > Apps.
Tap the filter/sort icon and toggle ON "Show system apps".
Search for SIM Toolkit > Go to Storage and click Clear Cache.
Do the exact same thing for the Carrier Hub app if it is available on your device.
🔒 Step 3: SIM Card Lock Method
If the setting still turns off, locking the SIM with a PIN sometimes forces the Android system to keep the communication channel active.
Go to Settings > Security and Privacy > Other security settings.
Tap on Set up SIM card lock > Select SIM 2 and toggle it ON (Default PIN is usually 0000 or 1234 depending on your carrier).
📝 Note for the User: If resetting the network doesn't work, it is a known bug in the current security patch. Please go to Samsung Members app > Get Help > Error Reports and report it so developers can push a hotfix for SIM 2 management in the next update!
🌟 Note from Sumit (Active Level 6 Contributor): If this step-by-step guide fixed your SIM 2 auto-off issue, please click the Three Dots (︙) next to this comment and click "Accept as Solution"! Have a great day! 👍✨
