I am using S8 plus of configuration with 6 gb ram and 128 gm memory.
I have been using it for more than a month and for charging I always use the charger and the cable which I got with the phone.
While charging it always shows fast charging but never does that.
Why such a major malfunction is there?
This is not with me but also with other s8 n S8+ user which I have spoken to.
Are you going to cover this up in an update or its just a function which will never be functional?
I request Samsung admin to give clear n specific reply.

Initially when the s8 released the fast charging was as mentioned and charged fully in 1 hr 30 mins but since the last 2 updates, they have introduced a patch where if you are using your phone while the phone is charging,the charging rate is reduced drastically which may have been done to reduce heating during fast charging, once you stop using your phone while on charge, the fast charging resumes in the next 5 minutes or so and charges fast upto 83-84 % which is the threshold for fast charging post which the phone would charge at a normal rate despite showing fast charging. this behaviour after 83% is expected in normal fast charging phones. hope i helped you in understanding what has been changed in the software as of now. it maybe improved in a future update. 😁
