Galaxy S1) never switch off your phone. A new line appears if your phone is switched off and you are charging.
2) while software update , must keep your phone in refrigerator before and during software update. Slight cold, don't freeze.
3) never buy an oled display phone that heats. 😢 Pixels are extremely heat sensitive.

Galaxy SJust in close to 2 years of use, my Samsung S21 FE has developed 3 white bright lines on the screen without any droppage and impact. It started with one line and after every 2-3 days an additional line got added. When I approached the samsung support, the simple solution that they have to offer is that change the display at a cost of approx 14,000 as the handset is not under warranty. The issue has recently surfaced in many samsung phones and looks like a software issue.
Two of my friends faced a similar issue with One Plus phones and they were offered a replacement with no questions asked. Samsung should atleast consider replacing the display for us. Big question to me on whether I should consider continuing with Samsung for my next handset. 2 years is too less time considering the cost that we pay for the phones.
