Yes, battery backup is very low, and performance is also not that good (good but not feels like flagship 865 processor) while playing games or multitasking (bachground app killed after few seconds of minimize) and brightness even at maximum watching videos is not upto mark (really very low brightness for watching content), and forget about seeing screen when outside in sunlight.

Battery optimization helps you to boost the battery performance of your device. To check battery optimization:
Settings > Select Device Maintenance/Device Care > Optimize > Optimize all options like Battery, Storage and Memory
