Use Samsung as WiFi repeater

I am using s9 plus , I can use this phone as a WiFi repeater. 

I also have a galaxy j1 ace which cannot be used as a repeater.

Can all of you Samsung users confirm if your phone can be used as WiFi repeater.

Just  confirm me the models .

Just check if the WIFI connection will get disconnected when the hotspot is switched on.

You need to enable wifi sharing. A71 has it, but without enabling you just get message turning on hotspot will turn off wifi.

is WiFi share for sharing internet or to share files ?

We can use as Hotspot, not repeater.

which model are you using ? did the WiFi get disconnected when you switch on the WiFi hotspot?

I am s9+ user, and yes wifi gets disconnected when hotspot is turn on.
