Sad news Guy's i have just received an update regarding missing vonr (Voice over 5g) option in mobile network settings for s23 lineup. The technical team have confirmed that they are not planning to provide any vonr option in near future to any of the models which are missing this feature. The models which are showing voice over 5g in there settings currently those are the only ones who will get this feature.

And yes i have confirmed with my area's jio technical team also they have deployed vonr in my entire district and it is stable. OEM like Samsung has to enable from their side whicj they are not.

[Update ] In Samsung devices Vonr is model specific just like voice focus feature. Samsung is treating vonr as feature by providing it only to specific models.

No matter whether Jio vonr is there or not in your area if you don't have Samsung specific models you will not get vonr in mobile settings.

VoNR from Jio is currently in beta stage. They have not enabled it on all mobile numbers from back-end and on all cell sites. On my S24 it does show VoNR on Jio but when I place a call it switches over to LTE. In Mumbai they have enabled it from Dadar to Bandra area & few cell sites in South Mumbai. 4km around airports only 700mhz 5g is enabled by Jio. Unless all trials don't end and beta testing doesn't end there is no point in paying Qualcomm licensing fees for 5G VoNR calling.

In guwahati the stable deployment of vonr is already done, The radio frequency engineer from jio of area confirmed it via telephoto conversation. They informed that Vonr is not device or brand specific if it's enabled for an area it will be available to all models which are compatible to support. If a device is compatible and then also not supporting than OEM will have to provide patch update to enable it in device, there is no stack of jio on that if brands like Samsung decides to provide vonr on specific models only.

This is incorrect information, kindly check with any NHQ Jio network team person instead of checking with Radio frequency engineer.

NHQ does not have any idea about which cell tower in particular area is working on vonr or not. Until vonr is globally rolled out in stable form just like Volte NHQ will keep on in saying that it's in beta stage only area to area it will differ. They never provide on ground information, whereas one of my relative is in my area's local ground staff who operates the cell towers and are aware of the status of vonr in my area.
The concern is that all the devices including moto, Realme and xiaomi are supporting Vonr in my area even some Samsung models like S21 series and A series why not the S23 series?
