As of now there is no support for automatic modes and routines sync between a galaxy tab and galaxy mobile.There is a work around which needs some manual effort to setup.We could make use of smart things app scenes (send notification feature) and modes and Routines app (notification with keyword feature) to start a mode,Routine,Scene on galaxy tab when we start the same on a galaxy phone.
Let's take an example, you have a study mode which turns on "do not disturb" on your phone waits for 60 mins and gets turned off and you want to synchronize your tab based on your phone.
First, On your phone, create a smart things scene named - "Tab study Mode On" and create action -> send notification to member -> with message as "ActivateStudyMode"
Next create a Routine named "Study" in modes and Routines App Add actions -> 1) do not disturb on 2) smart things run scene ->"Tab study Mode On"3)Wait for 60 mins 4) Bixby Run command "Turn off Study Routine"
Now in your tab create a routine named "Study Mode On".Set Trigger - when received notification with keyword "ActivateStudyMode" from Smart Things app then set actions 1) Turn On do not do not disturb 2) wait for 60 mins 3) here you could ask bixby to turn off do not disturb mode.
Voila !!! Now when you start study mode in phone consequently do not disturb gets activated on mobile and tab and similarly after 60 mins, do not disturb gets deactivated on both phone and tab.So here we could make use of "sending notification to member" feature of smart things scenes to pass on keywords to our devices as a SmartThing App notification and can make use of trigger "Notification containing trigger" to start synchronizing Routines, Scenes, Modes etc.
Ps: Both phone and Tab must have same samsung account logged into them.
