Swipe Up Home Screen to Search Application

Dear Samsung,

One of the very useful features is to introduce swipe up to directly search the application within the phone.

This makes it easier to search the application rather than swiping up first then click on search bar and then typing the application name.

Introducing this feature will be appreciated.

Yes, it is there when you opt for home screen only option. However, it can be introduced even when you chose to have an app drawer screen also.

Yes but as you self already said that this option is there if you merge home & app screen.
While you opt out for apps screen differently then you have to swipe up or down
Now there's an option already available if you swipe down on homescreen notification panel comes.
Now only swipe up left.

At this stage particularly if you know that the apps current position its annoying to open the finder every time.
And most people wouldn't to enable the app drawer.

Yes, if you have used one plus smartphone, you will understand how convenient and fast it becomes to directly open search bar when you swip up even in saperate app screen.

That seems useless for me.. swiping up everytime to search bar would be too annoying for my liking.

Yes it may be annoying for someone. But, this should be activated within the settings. So, if you chose not to opt for it, you will see the apps as usual.

As I said one hand plus already provides much better options. So use it.

I think, having inbuilt feature is better option rather than having an third party app.

Goodlock is not a third party app. It's exclusive for Samsung and is one of the major USPs of One ui!!
